They've a large community in the Silverlake area. My wife teaches him piano and he told us this:
There's one phase they're about halfway through on and another they've started sewers, cable and paving roads on. The current phase is many months behind schedule. He fields at least 2 dozen or more calls a day from concerned future owners whether they're going to cancel the contracts and at this time they have no plans to do so.
They've finished their community in Vineyard and are sending every single worker, contractor, sub over here to Silvelake to get caught up and help finish. Then for the new community they won't have price sheets or taking bids on the models. The new plan is to build all of the spec homes (200+ of them) and then sell them. This could change of course depending on market needs.
