My mom is alive, but after my father passed I have had glimpses of my siblings' behavior.

Kind of shocking. I basically took over all of my mom's finances right after my father's passing - my mom does do a lot of it now though. Had one sibling who basically didn't trust me at all and wanted to see monthly updates of what our mom was spending. It was really odd. Especially since this sibling did almost nothing to help out after our dad passed away.

Things have settled - but I do need to have long conversations about what to do with some assets before my mom leaves this world because I just have zero desire to deal with my siblings. Just divide equally and be done.
