Imagine being a team that is so wanted and valuable

that they sit for more than a decade as an independent, hoping and praying that any respectable conference will offer them membership, and despite all the power point presentations and a super sweet HD truck, no one comes calling until a conference is on the brink of collapse and finally offers them a spot lumped in with a couple G5 teams?

Pretty crazy how valuable a team like that is.
