Yeah. That's definitely a fun peripheral discussion.
Of course, it doesn't make them as valuable as the schools of the teams they beat as far as conference expansion goes.
If winning games was all that mattered, BYU would have been snatched up in the 80s or 90s and look and poor Boise State.
What Boise State has done with its football program is great and people do care. Regardless, they're not nearly as valuable as a huge school like UCF.
