Agreed. But That’s the whole point. U of U with no history, in BYU’s shadow
from a small populous state, had no business getting to the BCS bowls, being just good enough to be the “12th team” to create the CCG…etc.
But then to thrive in a conference where almost everybody had more history, better recruiting, more money, more tradition, is commendable.
