Absolutely... per that source, it's not close
Per other sources it is. The PAC 12 has an advantage and a disadvantage with negotiating first, but it does mean they can lock in concrete values, while the Big 12 can only provide schools with 'estimates'

That may actually be true but the PAC simply can’t guarantee they will be there

A “loose partnership“ with the ACC would tempt just about anyone to join the PAC[tbd]

Remember, this is a conference that has no qualms with cancelling a football season nor having schools in states

He's wrong. P12 makes less money and their woke administrators make them unwanted partners.

I think he's right. Most fans feel more comfortable with what they want than reality substantiates. B12 fans, PAC fans,

Name one advantage a Big12 school would have to leave and join the Pac12.

IF the Big 12 has a big $ advantage, there's no way a Big 12 team leaves for PAC12

Does he like the PAC brand? He's from Florida, went to Florida, covered SEC and Texas and his schtick is liking BBQ

I wouldn’t trust that UW and ORE would stay. Not worth the risk for any B12 uni.
