But Kobe has the advantage over Jordan of earlier training in similar skills. They both have that advantage over Magic, who was a pioneer, but didn't perfect the stuff Jordan and Kobe had. At their primes, Kobe wins. James is enough of a different style and got refereed differently enough that comparisons are harder, but Kobe is better skills-wise. Lebron at times has been better at talking good players into playing with him, but that's not the same as actual individual basketball skill.
