Go look at the play by play. We didn't shut the run game down
When they ran they were still successful. It's just they didn't run very much in the second half because they were trailing.

He'll never be given credit for it by the cougarboard experts.

I feel like Tuiaki does whatever CB doesn't think he'll do.

The inconsistency is frustrating.

Their biggest mistake was throwing on 1st down in the 3rd quarter. Got sack, forced punt, scored and forced them to

Gave up 24 points and 278 total yards. Maybe it seems bad but that’s actually

Not to mention 14 points or so were greatly aided by the zebras.

You didn’t watch the first half. It’s wasn’t a good effort. Horrible defense.

Second quarter was great. They stopped the run. First quarter was a disaster

Average against a bad offense

That actually seems like a good amount of points scored for the amount of yards gained.

First quarter was a bit strange, but given the injuries and adjustments it felt like a good game by Tuiaki.

Worth noting too that we were missing at least 5 starters on D.

Injuries need to stop being an excuse at some point

Injuries will always be an excuse. There is reason most talented players are starters. They are better than 2nd and 3rd

We just hired 5 full time guys to be recruiters. Other coaches have had much more institutional support than our

I'd bet that if we looked at total injuries from a typical P5 team starting at fall camp to today that we'd find that

I think a lot of it is the independent schedule. The hard, physical P5s teams early in the schedule whereas most P5

I'm sure he did, I think a lot was the offense scoring, getting the lead, and

If giving up 6 yards/carry is "shutting down" then...I guess
Goliath

"Shutting down" likely refers to yards given up in the 1st quarter vs. the rest of the game.

Problem is why did they need adjustments?
BYU '80

You thought they'd line up in two TE sets from the 50yd line? Power running is not what I expected WY to run.
