I don't think that's a program defining loss in any way. Looking at how well Utah ran the ball and was moving the chains, even for such an off day for Rising...I don't see that as a disaster.
BYU fans have this odd view point that Utah somehow has to win every game or else. I don't get it. It lacks such awareness.
I'll say, I think BYU fans will go into the Big 12 expecting a championship and undefeated seasons — and it's going to be a little suprrise.
I wonder if TCU's season was considered a disappointment. Losing 2 out of 3 and not winning the Big 12. Like Utah, they beat a top 4 team to go to another game. But they lost 65-7, with their whole team. Is the whole season ruined?
