She could simply include in her vlog that she answered emails and did other work for 8 hours. Since it is supposed to represent her day. Heck, I don't even care whether she actually does that, but if she puts out what she did, it makes it seem like she isn't doing much and it will at least beg the question.
My post assumes for the sake of argument that she isn't doing much, but concedes that impression may not be accurate and if it isn't accurate, then my point is not applicable.
Her video isn't actually all that relevant except for the impression that it creates (which is that she doesn't do much). I don't think she should be fired for the video and didn't say that. I do think IF she isn't doing much (which is how the video made it seem), then I'm glad that the company is cutting bloat. I fully admit that the video may not be the whole picture and if so, then I agree that my point is not applicable to her specifically.
