My senior year of high school our teacher's passed around this random
state standardized test. No one studied or prepared for it. Turns out I did pretty well on it and was given a "governor's scholarship" which meant I got like $2000.00 from California to spend on my college expenses at BYU. Pretty sweet surprise as I had no idea what the test was for. CA only did this for a couple of years.
