Minus the Kafusi injury which took place early in the Texas game... our defense has looked no difference since the Houston game... they get beat deep, the blitzes are soft, the holes in the zone are too wide open and teams are executing a passing game against BYU as if that is their base offense for years. In fact you can even point to problems in the UConn game.

If this defense was clicking and not giving up the crap that they gave up in the Houston, Virginia and USU game... and we had injuries after that... the injury excuse can be used all you want. But injuries weren't an issue at all in any of those games and the teams used the same attacks and were overwhelmingly effective.

Even Howell, going into the bye week, called it a Red Alert week because of the issues.
