Sure... Injuries don't help, that's obvious and true
I get that. But the problems on the defense that we are seeing today, are the same problems that we saw when the defense was at full strength. Injuries are a convenient excuse for just plain crappy coaching. BYU has made some pretty average QB's look way way way better than they were... and it's sad that those coaches could get their players to execute at that level to beat BYU.

The offense lost the biggest play marker on the entire team, plus other players that is significant... yet the offense has performed well enough to win. We didn't lose the game's against UCF and Nevada because of injuries... we lost because of bad coaching. How do you allow a 28 point swing in less then a quarter and a half of play, when you didn't even allow more than 14 points in the previous 2 qtrs? That's my point... I see your point about injuries, but a good coach can overcome them and put their players in a position to win... Howell is not a good coach by any stretch.
