small feat. If Haws passes him on the point total this season that won't change a thing. Haws had a MUCH larger role than Jim as a Frosh & never missed a full half-a-season with Mono.
Jimmer didn't have a very good supporting cast at scoring--though he did have better than he allowed oftentimes. His monopolizing of the offense was usually positive, & occasionally negative. But with this year's lineup, I think Jimmer's effect would more often be a negative. Granted, if Jimmer had played with the scoring depth we have right now, chances are the coaches reign him in a lot more than they did--& his role woulda been significantly different.
I tend to think Haws has matured to the point that he's gonna get his this year--yet we're still gonna have 3 other guys averageing 12+ this year. I really have high hopes for this season.
