Coaches can't bend over backwards so far to keep Bartley happy that the team suffers. There may be a few minutes for him at SG or SF, but very few this year.
I continue to think Bartley can become a good player but not when he is pressing. He is stressed now trying to prove he belongs on the floor. He knows he is not a PG and would rather play the SG, but SG has a logjam of better contributors.
Coercing someone to play at an unnatural position is not how you reduce tension and make him more comfortable. Put him where he belongs and make him fight for the minutes. PG is not the place for Bartley.
