I wasn't going to post this but....
Coug203 left me no choice... a few weeks ago Coug203 decided to make a post about a "FB friend" that had "publicly" became a Ute fan... and continued to post the following:
"Per facebook, a lifelong die hard BYU fan, has switched allegiances. In the last few years, he's gone completely inactive from the church, consumes alcohol regularly and has begun living with his girlfriend. Says he can no longer root against the Utes. He topped off his post with a picture of a big drum and feather. I genuinely don't understand how people can do that, unless of course they have a child playing or whatever. But to just out of no where, switch? I could never imagine doing that.
Unfortunately, this sorta thing has been pretty common in the last decade. For those who think that religion and football need to be separated, that's precisely what drives the Holy War. I can't imagine this happening elsewhere in the country but perhaps I need to get out more." YOU DO NEED TO GET OUT MORE!!!!

This is me... yewthater79... I have no problem saying this is me, I have no problem owning up to this. I have switched side but also for very good reason... It was just not "out of nowhere" like Coug203 would like you to believe. In fact in my FB post that he is quoting here, I list those very many valid reasons. I graduated from the University of Utah, I played Lacrosse for the U of U and for all 4 years while going here I was a BYU fan and season ticket holder.I have also worked at the U for 5 years now. I am proud to work for a University that takes pride in providing the best education for its students and who has provided me a career and way to grow. I am passionate about my job and love going to work each day and can't cheer against a University that has given me so much. Maybe I don't have a child playing for the U but the U has given me more than if I had a child playing here.

What Coug203 (who has now blocked me and won't identify themselves to me) has led you to believe was that it was religious reasons that I have now begun cheering for the U. I can assure you it was not living with my girlfriend or being inactive or drinking alcohol that led me to cheer for the U. I have lived with 2 girlfriends before this and was still a BYU fan. I have been inactive from the church for 15 years and was still a BYU fan, I have been drinking for 15 years and drank a lot of BYU games and was still a BYU fan. I can tell you NONE of those reasons were why I began cheering for the U. It was purely because I could not continue to cheer against a University that has given me so much. I know that might be hard for some of you to understand but if you were given what I have been given from whatever organization you would be a fan of them too!

I just want Coug203 to know he is a coward and yet another reason I HATE most BYU fans!
