I am not criticizing the Jazz for their pick but I think the picks would have gone differently if some of the better teams were drafting at the top. San Antonio for example had Leonard in the top 5 on their big board.

One of the reasons that teams are drafting at the top are because they are usually bad talent evaluators. So they draft year after year in the lottery picking busts because they suck. Meanwhile who's to say better teams who weren't in the lottery would have drafted differently?

Just something to think about.
