brightness with a reference DVD/Blu-Ray. They have deeper blacks/colors however they weigh more, have a glass screen and use more power than an LCD/LED and run warmer. They are more susceptible to burn in so don't leave games paused for long periods of time or run games with frames around them and fixed UI for long periods of time.

Make sure it's in a room with medium to low light/windows. If it's a bright room, you'll get tons of glare from the screen.
