let's leave a little sympathy for the fans who were disappointed by Jake's actions.

I really didn't feel any ill will in Lifi's post. Just disappointment with a young man who let down his fans & simultaneously shot himself in the foot. However justified he may have been given the circumstances. (And I agree that he was justified in screwing up more than a bit. As an 18-19 yr old facing those mountainous challenges I can't say I would've done half as well, let alone better. And yet Jake likely woulda gained a ton if he had stuck it out here. Probably not much of a better shot at sticking in the NFL, but a much more fulfilling college experience, no doubt.)

But the kid and his ego/will were hades-bent. And so he probably had to do what he had to do.
