I had an uncle who would never leave the left lane
Upon entering the highway, he'd immediately make his way to the furthest left lane and then set his cruise control at exactly the speed limit. If people got angry at him it wasn't his fault, he would explain - he was obeying the laws of the land and they weren't. He might also helpfully share that he believed in obeying ALL the laws of the land and had never once been issued a traffic citation.
