It's Utah. They're not that relevant nationally. To be more relevant than Utah doesn't take much, so it's not exactly saying much to argue a team is more relevant than Utah.
BYU is getting their name out there. The nations knows of the two Texas beat downs. Though they weren't highlight games, we played GT and UVA. Both the ACC and the SEC had to have the conversation about BYU, and whether or not we would count as a P5 game. Both rounds of that discussion were moments of publicity for BYU. Even the first round was good publicity despite the initial snub, as many sports writers came to our defense.
The seasons haven't gone as hoped, but the BYU brand has trended up here in the southeast. We're having to work harder for it than Utah, but we're currently still staying relevant.
