Fifty minutes later and still hovering around 2.4%. Not a good start for a
ground swell movement to force BYU to sell caffeine.

I'm not a caffeine hater. I've said before I like Mtn Dew, Dr Pepper and Big Red, but I'm going to find something else to drink at BYU because it's not a NEED for me and I'm satisfied with the current drink offerings. Until we get LOTS of people to stop buying any drinks at BYU and BYU knows it's because those folks want the soda with caffeine, BYU won't change.

Yes, BYU, if they were "in the real world" would do a survey and see what sort of demand there is. That's the approach taught and learned in my marketing classes (BTW, I had a finance emphasis and didn't like the more touchy-feely marketing classes, but at least I passed them). But in my many years of being around BYU, I think I have a reasonable understanding that BYU doesn't do things the way the world does.
