I cut my teeth on Nirvana, if you must know. From there I ventured into some
country and some classic rock like Floyd and Zeppelin. Pretty typical teenage stuff. My tastes change almost every day now though and I'd say I'm pretty eclectic, but limited to the stuff I like (and not the stuff that doesn't interest me-- see above). I still get an itch for Nirvana every now and then-- not because I think it is especially timeless (their stuff surely all sounds the same to the uninitiated), but because the stuff you're into as a 15-16 year old tends to stay with you on some level. I don't want to get into a hipster debate about what music is officially timeless and what isn't. I just know what I like, and what I don't like.
