with a Poly HC and majority Poly football staff I strongly believe that more Polynesian doors will be opened for BYU than have been for years. I’m not saying that BYU will start getting all the top Polynesian players, not even close, but I don’t see why the staff can’t land a few very good gets here and there, that we haven’t been able to in the past.

Part of LaVell’s success was he had the “Poly Pipeline” I see that pipeline becoming stronger with this football staff. If BYU eventually becomes a majority Polynesian team with Polynesian coaches it becomes a Polynesian football family with Poly pride. Naïve? Maybe, but over time I see BYU’s O-line and D-line becoming dominant. Blue goggles? Maybe, but the new look would be an almost all Poly team, a very physical, tough, hard-nosed team.
