I have learned on this board that players will only do what they are coached to do. If they don't perform on the field it is and always will be the coaches fault. The coach should anticipate and prepare for every eventuality and should have lightning reflexes in adjusting to anything the other team does.

Which was one of the reasons I am so confused that so many folks want Whit as a coach... I don't think I would ever want someone who teaches his players to drop the ball on the one yard line.
