He should apologize for suggesting that "sissy" is necessarily a discriminatory term against gays.
I mean, unless he was actually saying "Parenting is not for homosexuals" in 2012, and is now recanting that sentiment. Because that's the only logical conclusion to the kind of apology he's issued.

My reading of it is that he is sorry for his twitter post a couple of years ago using the word sissy, not the article.
