Fair enough
However...the blue on blue myth is also annoying.

Our own coaches dismiss the idea of blue turf as camouflage. If you actually get down on the field or even sit close to the field and watch the blue on blue Broncos, you get it.

There may be some small advantage. Emphasis on small. Like "good teams that fear our passing attack small." But it is no different than green on green. If it really helped much at all, every green team out there would match their uni's to their turf.

People just cannot let go of the idea of Bluefield equals invisibility cloak.

Sitting with some long time BSU season ticket holder's in their section last night. Literally laughed at how badly the blue turf gets in people's heads.

It's two birds, one stone when the guy lays down on the turf on that play – – not the first time I've seen them run it--never seen it work. Might make him very slightly harder to notice laying down in matching colors. As a nice bonus, people see it and react. Completely enforces the big blue myth and propagates the mystique of Boise's massive home-field advantage.

To paraphrase Trey Gowdy, I'm not surprised that Boise does it. I'm just surprised at how many people buy it.
