core for the last 3 years. It hasn't resulted in any better quality of staff or management, and if anything, it's distracted and take time and resources away from more important initiatives that will actually make us more money.
Hiring is one part of my job, and I can tell you it has no impact on what I do. I still look for the best and brightest talent, regardless of the characteristics that have absolutely nothing to do with ability to perform (race, sex, orientation, etc).
I think it's a huge waste of time.
