I saw a man successfully negotiate lower prices for clearance items at Walmart.
He wanted some items for his motel. He offered to buy the remaining 3 or 4 items if the WalMart manager would give him a $100 discount. The manager agreed.
I almost asked the Indian man, who was a friend of mine, to negotiate a lower price on the $15 item I wanted. Maybe the manager would have just thrown in the item for free with the other purchases.
