Quincy doesn't bring much to the table (especially not improved defense) and I think it was a mistake to bring on a guy who had success with exceptional offensive talent as opposed to a former great defensive player or proven defensive minded coach. I have yet to see him get in the face of one of "his guys" and throw some fire their way. He usually looks wide eyed and lost, confused by the various schemes more talented coaching staffs are throwing BYU's way.
The lack of improvement with him on the staff has made me wonder if it wasn't his credentials that got him hired as much as some backroom deal to have him push elite LP3 players to BYU with a soft promise that he'd be on the staff someday.
