Um...Dave Rose was basketball's Kalani.
No one was excited about Cleveland, and some were excited when he left.
Rose brought a more exciting brand of basketball, was more of a player's coach, and everyone was excited for him.
Rose is different than Bronco in every way imaginable. Perhaps you'd like him to have a better record or perform better against the top competition.
But...let's be honest here. You have NO IDEA how Kalani is going to look as a coach 5 years from now, or even 10 years from now.
Are we hopeful and optimistic that he'll be good? Sure! We were hopeful and optimistic about Rose too. Until several years later when he suddenly isn't good enough.
Using Kalani as a measuring stick after one year is just silly.
