You need to listen more closely to what he said

Some of his assistants look at these things closely. It's clear that Rose is aware of analytics because he has repeatedly referenced possessions, efficiency and other things as something that relates to how BYU is performing. Just because he may not personally know analytics on such a granular level as defensive efficiency in man defense vs 1-3-1 zone doesn't mean that he or BYU completely ignores analytics altogether.
