The protection plan allows for oil & gas exploration,
grazing and logging, along with recreational possibilities.
We are told that the state will manage these elements responsibly while ensuring that the experience will remain the same.
The state can't even find enough funds to staff and maintain the state parks yet somehow will find the wherewithal to manage new lands.
Color me skeptical.
