No way Romney would have been mocked as much as Trump, not even close. He is
mature, serious, thoughtful, and presidential -- the antithesis of Trump. If nothing else, he wouldn't have given them nearly as much material to work with.
Comedians are mocking Trump not because he's a Republican (whch he only kind of is anyway), for the most part, but because he is Trump.
