I had an injury to one of my ears years ago that messed it up and now it seems like I have Eustachian tube issues in both ears that worsens it even more. My good ear is as bad as my bad ear now according to my last hearing test. One of these days hearing aids will be recommended, but i'm not there yet.

Anyway, some sounds seem much louder to me than they seem to be to other people. For example, I can hear the hum of my obnoxiously loud refrigerator throughout most of my house. Most people don't even recognize it even after I mention it. It drives me crazy because compared to most everything else, it's loud.

So anyway, any misophonia I may have is exacerbated by that. I strain so much that certain sounds just go BOOM!

But yeah, I'm nuts.
