Could be a bit more of tinnitus than misophonia
Or something similar to tinnitus.
I have misophonia, and sounds don't physically hurt my ears and they aren't louder than they are to others... I just can't ignore certain sounds.
The reason you can't ignore them may be different than the reason I can't. Mine is neurological. It sounds like yours may be a combination of neurological and physical.
