camping is also a fantastic way to literally unplug from technology
and focus on the people you're with.
In addition to the learning, the adventure and the amazing scenery, you can play games and talk to people because they can't go anywhere. It's also a very inexpensive vacation.
We took the young men camping a few years ago and we brought three games. These guys had never played "BANG!" before and played non stop the whole weekend. Laughing, joking, including some of the youth that were pretty socially awkward and inept. Everyone played, everyone had a great time.
You can't buy that kind of experience elsewhere

To me this isn't camping. Camping is hiking 4 miles to get to your campsite. That's just what I grew up with though
