The implications bug me
1. That they are even loud after 8PM. Sunset is 7:52PM where I live today. It hasn't even been light enough in the last several months for them to be out after 8PM. Is this a preemptive request based on them being outside at 8:05 one night?
2. That I have many neighbors who see it as a problem. Are they talking to each other?
3. That I am not cognizant or sensitive to noise they make and don't encourage them to keep it down or bring them inside

I could be reading too much into it which is why a face to face conversation would be better. It puts a human face on both sides of the issue.
