Is there a scenario where Hayward picks up his player option?

I know he'd make less money next year. But what if he made the all-NBA team? Or would another year in the league make him eligible for a larger max contract? Either of those two things could make it worthwhile to wait a year for free agency.

0% chance. If he wants a bigger deal after next season, he'll sign a 1-yr deal.
