Pretty sure everyone would love to have a school like UT. But so many bridges...
... may have been burnt already and UT's attitude that they don't need anyone else makes them a harder pill to swallow. Not to mention LHN issues and a general trepidation to invite a behemoth program that is used to calling ALL the shots.
The resume is massively impressive on every metric though (fanbase, Program history, Academic standing--AAU & massive research $$, TV draw, etc, etc, etc ...)
