You are assuming they will be using the same format to negotiate

New contracts in a few years. The networks don't have the money to pay all conference schools a ton when it's really two or three schools they want the rights to. Those schools realize what they have and conferences are forced to accept unequal revenue sharing or lose the marquee teams.
