I know it is getting off point now, but I have always thought the reason the heat lost to Dallas was a power struggle between LeBron and Wade.
Miami was Wade' s city, but LeBron was the one who got the Heat past the Celtics and up 2 games in the finals. At that point, arrogance kicked in. Wade wanted to be the hero of the city, and told LeBron he was going to take it from here. (After all, the Heat were the anointed ones. No one could beat them. It didn't matter who was the team leader.)
Being a "good friend" LeBron acquiesced and let Wade learn things the hard way.
Anecdotally, I have heard on Miami sports radio since that after that finals loss, LeBron and Wade retreated to the Bahamas and Wade told LeBron that for the Heat to win it all, LeBron had to be the undisputed number 1 man on the team.
