Sounds like those guys wanted to make Han a comedic charater, instead of a serious but sarcastic and selfish one. I would have hated a slapstickish Han Solo, so they deserved to get canned.

Farther than arms length. He has nothing do to with the direction of Lucasfilm.

Rogue One was a huge improvement from Ep 7 though. So I hope they are learning how to modernize the franchise.
