And is this true thyroid tenderness or just neck tenderness? Any chance she had tender lymph nodes vs thyroid?
It still sounds like GERD to me, with probable esophagitis that is causing neck pain, retrosternal pain, and cough. The svt would have been unrelated if this is the case.
