I am thinking GERD is at least some kind of possibility (I have EoE and at least GERD was one of the first things I thought about). Problem is that sort or coughing is much different that a GERD cough.

Kind of leaning towards a swollen Thyroid or Lymph nodes for whatever reason, causing the pain and tenderness and maybe even the cough when breathing deep because it may be so sensitive.
