shot off from 9th grade ball to JV, from JV to Varsity, Varsity to low college, low college to D1, D1 to pro. The quick release and adequate athleticism to get the shot off becomes more and more rare as we move up the continuum. Beo will find a place to thrive. He is a good basketball player. I know his parents are not thrilled that he didn't stick at BYU but their job is to be pro Beo, come what may. One reason why I am not overly bummed my sons don't play for BYU. No mixed emotions for me. And I don't have to be ticked at the knuckleheads on the board who probably never even played high school varsity basketball calling out every mistake my son and his teammates make or at the coaches for not thinking my son is as good as I think he is.
