Hawaii, N. Illinois, BSU, Utah, W. Michigan, and others have had these despite being average or terrible most seasons. Where is my expectation missing the mark?

Furthermore, Utah is losing so much from last season. It would actually be embarrassing to lose to them for that reason alone. Also, when was the last time fan predictions about schedule difficulty actually came true accurately? Answer: Never.
