If he was like his UCLA teammate, Bryce Alford, getting forced out of bounds along the sideline, stepping out while trying to hoist a corner three, and dribbling the ball of his knee, I would be worried.
To be a winner, Ball eventually needs to show he can consistently shoot the three or defenders will sag off him. He also needs to get serious about defense. But even if he doesn't make those improvements, he will be entertaining.
