I don't have a problem with beer in general and I do like to teach kids that
people who drink are not necessarily bad. That it can be done responsibly.
That being said, having 10 year old kids serve you beer is an irresponsible thing for a man / father to do. I think he is trying to do it to show what I mentioned above, that you can be a good person and enjoy a few cold ones responsibly. Just not age appropriate to give them that kind of access to it.
