Both of those guys are 4* guys as I pointed out.
Thompson 4* on Rivals, Hampton 4* on Scout. Both had P5 offers (and both had more of them than Bushman). Thompson could have played at any PAC 12 school other than USC, Hampton had offers from the PAC, BIG and BIG 12.
And Mangum's completion percentage against P5 teams is 53%.
